Creating an immersive experience for graduates.

The 2020-2021 university semester was unlike any other. Busy campuses that were normally packed with students were instead quiet and empty spaces. In person teaching was replaced with online learning, and connections were restricted mostly to digital spaces.

Vibe VR worked with Carleton University to create an immersive experience that would bring grads back onto campus through the use of 360° video. The Carleton campus is a sprawling space with lots of green space and we used a VR camera to capture several iconic locations.

Being on campus is seen as an essential part of the university experience for many and we wanted to give grads the opportunity to revisit campus and maintain a connection with their teachers, school and fellow grads.
